Home Health Aide:  is usually a certified nursing assistant who provides personal care services inside the home of a disabled, chronically ill, or medically fragile person. The services of personal care provided are health related;  such as bathing and grooming, dressing and personal hygiene, assistance with feeding and meal preparation, light housecleaning, laundry, mobility assistance, checking vital signs, changing bandages, giving massages and helping with medical equipment.  They work under the supervision of a RN. They are not to be confused with homemakers, companions, or personal care aides who clean a patient's home and help with a patient's personal care routine.
